What does tuition pay for?

Other Fees
Materials: I will purchase and invoice you or will send you links to purchase the books. Expect to spend $50 or under per year per child.
Recitals: Studio performances, community events and Young Musical Stars are free of charge.
Festivals/Competitions (optional): Fees are usually $15-25 per event.
Summer Lessons
Students are required to attend 8 lessons throughout the summer - lesson slots cannot be guaranteed for the new academic year without this commitment. Summer tuition is $152/$220/$288 (8 lessons) or $185/$270/$355 (10 lessons) for 30/45/60 minute lessons.
Inclement Weather & Illness
If lessons are cancelled due to weather conditions or if your student is contagious but feels well enough to play at home a FaceTime, Google Duo or Skype lesson may be conducted during the student's regular lesson time.
Missed Lessons
Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance and your lesson slot is reserved especially for you! There will be no fee reimbursement for lessons you cancel or do not attend. I will notify you of any openings that may occur during the week of the missed lesson pending my availability. I will also try my best to accommodate sports activities or other conflicts if notified in advance, but I cannot ensure lessons will be rescheduled. If I cancel for any reason the lesson will be made up.
